Kara, a mum of three, is the owner and founder of The Beauty Boss VA. With over a decade of experience owning and operating her own successful salon, Kara recognized the critical need for support within the beauty industry. Facing a skills crisis, she leveraged her expertise in running a seven-figure salon to help other salon owners reclaim their time and achieve their dream businesses through virtual assistance.

Starting her VA journey just before the pandemic, when her youngest was only 14 months old, Kara navigated multiple economic and industry challenges with resilience and determination. In just 12 months, her VA services were fully booked, prompting her to expand her team to five members and grow her business to a multi-six-figure enterprise.

Her expertise has been recognised at prestigious events such as the 2022 and 2023 Beauty Expo Australia, and she has served as a judge for the ABIA awards in 2022, 2023, and 2024. Additionally, Kara is a regular contributor to Beauty Biz Magazine.

In 2022, Kara launched the Beauty Boss VA Academy, dedicated to teaching other mums how to build and grow their own online businesses. She is passionate about empowering women to achieve time freedom and significant financial rewards, allowing them to be present for their children while building prosperous careers.
